Heart & Sol is a short documentary about Puerto Rico’s first solar-powered community in the mountain town of Adjuntas. This community-owned microgrid supports energy independence and helps ensure the lights stay on the next time a hurricane knocks out the central power grid.
It is part of a larger collaborative multimedia story, "Step by Step" which documents Puerto Rico’s electrical recovery and the efforts for a sustainable future. The project was recognized by the Anthem Awards, the Hearst Journalism Awards, and College Photographer of the Year.

This ad was made for NoDa Brewing Company's release of their Big Slurp IPA. It was displayed across grocery stores in the Southeastern U.S. through The Looma Project. It was made in collaboration with Evan Davison (graphics and cinematography).
